AV-Comparatives 2026 Business Security Test: Enterprise Products Compared

AV-Comparatives’ 2026 Business Security Test evaluated 15 enterprise endpoint security products in a rigorous real-world testing methodology over 4 months. Our analysis of their comprehensive results provides essential guidance for IT security decision-makers. CrowdStrike Falcon and SentinelOne tied for the top position, both achieving 99.7% overall protection rates with zero false positives in the Business Real World test scenarios. Bitdefender GravityZone achieved 99.6% with exceptional performance scores. ESET PROTECT and Sophos Intercept X both reached 99.5%, demonstrating strong detection across all threat categories including ransomware, banking trojans, and APT simulation attacks. The performance category revealed dramatic differences ??CrowdStrike’s cloud-native architecture caused just 1.2% system slowdown during standard use, while some legacy products caused 12-18% slowdowns. ESET PROTECT Advanced won the performance award with the lowest system impact of any product tested. FortiClient EMS demonstrated excellent network integration but slightly lower malware detection scores at 98.2%. Trend Micro Apex One achieved strong results across the board with particularly good email security integration. The report’s False Positive Test revealed that three products generated excessive false positives that would frustrate enterprise users.
