Some cheat programs work perfectly for weeks before activating malicious payloads. We documented how popular YouTube videos had malware-laden download links in 40% of descriptions. The safest approach is obvious: never download cheats or hacks. If you must use gameplay enhancement tools, run them in an isolated virtual machine.
